Zanskar, other deputations meet Advisor (G), put up demands, seek redressal

Srinagar : Deputations and individuals from across the Valley met the Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai here Tuesday and brought their issues into his notice.
A deputation from Zanskar demanded upgradation of infrastructure and tourism promotion in the area.
Deputations from Kupwara, Budgam, Pulwama, Baramulla and other areas also met the Advisor and sought augmentation of developmental process in their areas particularly in sectors like road connectivity, power distribution and drinking water facilities.
Responding to the demands of deputations, the Advisor directed the concerned departments to ensure that benefits of various development and welfare schemes reach to the grass roots level while emphasizing on regular monitoring of the development works, close coordination and synergy among various departments and general public so that genuine demands of people are addressed timely.
