Pakistan: Dreams of Jinah, Iqbal yet to come true

The idea of Pakistan was first put forth by Sir Mohammad Iqbal who is an Indian poet and philosopher. The name of the country was coined as Pakistan by choudhry Rehmat Ali. Pakistan once a part of British India got separated by the Indian independence Act 1947. Needless to mention whole history during the course of independence but strenuous efforts were made by great personalities and Mohammad Ali Jinnah was one among them. He is regarded as father of nation as he had a big contribution in establishing Pakistan state. But the question which again and again is nagging why Pakistan was established as a separated entity. Answer is clear and very clear… let us have a short review about its existence.
Once the founder and father was asked by an anonymous person how would you shape Pakistan, he passionately said who he is to decide how Pakistan should be and it has been decided long time ago. He meant our country would follow the foot prints of Prophet Mohammad (SAW). In other words an Islamic state. Of course his intention can’t be doubted, his role was unambiguous. The second personality Dr sir Mohammad Iqbal who is known as great poet, philosopher also supported the establishment of the Pakistan. Need to mention another religious political philosopher, Maulana Madudi who founded Jammat e islami in Pakistan considered, Islam is an encompassing religion overwhelming both spiritual and temporal aspect of life. Islamic society can’t be established until an Islamic state is not established and sustained to implement the Islamic laws and values.
This was a short look behind the establishment of this state, many Indians have flayed, blaming Jinnah for division of India on communal lines. Bur the existing internal situation in India is gruesome, many Muslims whether it is beef issue or love marriage people are lynched to death… It seems that two nation theory was genuine. What are saffron colours, fascist forces doing in India and how Government is failing to check, it is another topic. I will also dare to write an article on this topic which will be published in a leading newspaper.
Before raising fingers at Pakistan let me clearly say that India has not left any scope to justify the two nation theory. The Pakistan so called Islamic state, the dream of Iqbal and Jinnah is still missing. Pakistan doesn’t look like that it was thought. First there is need to explore the term Islamic state, it is a state where all functions and activities are under Islamic laws. Under this preview Pakistan can’t claim to be an Islamic state, see mode of punishment for crimes, they established their own mode of punishments, see theft, rape, decoity , murders are on increasing scale in so called Islamic state.
A very glaring example is Zainab, it has staggered everyone, it is incredible an eight year old girl was first kidnapped then raped and murdered, it is gibberish nasty worst act. The more shocking is she was kidnapped six days before, the police functionary was lenient in tracing her. Now keep watch how will be the criminal treated, punished in so called Islamic state.
Islamic state should be fashioned in such a manner where every community is free to act on its own whims and wishes. Its all proceedings must fall within the preview of Islam it should be role model for world.
