Modi govt has rehashed old Cong schemes with new titles, presenting them as its own ‘baby’, says Cong

New Delhi:  Reprimanding the Narendra Modi led government with ‘adopting ‘ all the UPA era government schemes as its own, Congress today charged that as many as 23 developmental projects initiated by the previous Manmohan Singh government have been repackaged, renamed and presented to the people in the name of ‘progress’ by Mr Modi.
Addressing mediapersons, Congress spokesperson,Rajiv Shukla said,” Except the “Demonetisation “move, all schemes are like “old wine in a new bottle”.
During the Manmohan Singh reign , the same BJP stalwarts used to criticize these very schemes in and out but after coming to power, it is music to their ears.
‘ ‘The UPA schemes have now become NDA schemes with just the titles changed.
So “Indira Awaas Yojana” initiated in 1985 has become ” Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-gramin”.
