New Delhi: Describing the victory of the National Students Union of India on two out of four posts in Delhi University Students Union as a reflection of a ‘changed atmosphere in the country’, the Congress today said that the youth of the country have given a lesson to the NDA Government for its false promises of ‘Acche Din’.
Charging the rival ABVP of indulging in malpractices in the DUSU polls, the Congress said that all options were open for the NSUI.
Talking to reporters here, AICC spokesperson Manish Tewari said,’this is a reflection of the changed atmosphere in the country.
The youths who have been failed by the NDA Government who have been misleading them with false promises of ‘acche din’ have given them a fitting lesson, as is reflected in the results of the a students union elections in Rajasthan and Punjab universities and now Delhi University.
‘ Charging the ABVP of having indulged in malpractices, Mr Tewari said,’the candidature of Rocky Tuseed of the NSUI , who has won for the post of DUSU president, had been rejected by the poll authorities and it was only through the intervention of the High court that its was restored.
