New Delhi: The Central Provident Fund Commissioner VP Joy today said that the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) would be a paper-free organisation by August next near.
Talking the reporters here, he said, we are working to make EPFO Electronic Paper Free Organisation as a lot of time, man hours, resources, manpower were going waste generating less productivity as conventional methods were now aging and were slow and now the time is to go digital. According to Mr Joy, efforts were on to revolutionalise the working of EPFO and digitising it by next year by making the overall working of the organisation more electronic so that things could be executed digitally using mobile, internet, etc.
We aim to provide all the services offered by the department online on mobile phone by August next year said CPFC adding that they were working on their action plans and would execute them soon. while addressing the EPFO Delhi at the Tiranga Yatra organised by them to mark 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement here he said that a lot of unproductivity has to be ruled out from every department and time and resources for over used in conventional ways should can only be cut down by moving forward, The overall growth rate of the country is also affected by the present style of working.
He also took the Sankalp Se Siddhi pledge along with EPFO officials and staff contributing towards creating New India by 2022 pledging for a clean India poverty free India corruption free India terrorism free India Communalsim free India and a casteism free India1 Chief Vigilance Officer Alka Jha who was also present on the occasion urged the people to take the pledge with self to be free from corruption and asked them to take the Integrity Pledge on the vigilance commission website and declare themselves corruption free.
