New Delhi: The Supreme Court will hear on August 14, Monday, an appeal filed by the Tamil Nadu government to release the killers of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Justice Ranjan Gogoi will head the bench.
There are seven convicts in the case: Perarivalan, Murugan, Shantan, Robert Pais, Nalini, Jayakunar and Ravichandran.
The Tamil Nadu government is in favour of releasing the seven convicts in the assassination case which is opposed by the Centre.
