Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Thursday said that our religion and ethos teach us to respect humanity and human values that is why we with one voice mourned the death of seven Yatrees.
The JKLF was reacting over the statement made by Union Minister, Jitendar Singh wherein he had said that unequivocal condemnation of Yatrees Killings by Kashmiri civil society has vindicated our faith in everything that India stands for and for which J&K stands for.
Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Zonal president of JKLF in a statement issued to KNS, said that that “loving every human irrespective of his religion and region and respecting his right to life is taught to us by our great religion Islam and our Kashmiri ethos that is why we all felt pained on the killings of Hindu Yatrees. We are not like those Indian leaders and media channels whose fascist ego is satisfied on seeing dead bodies and who only know to celebrate death and miseries.”
Terming the assertions of Singh of finishing Kashmiri resistance within three months as ‘day dreaming’, JKLF’s Zonal president said that “Jammu Kashmir is an internationally acknowledged issue and people of Jammu Kashmir are fighting for their Azadi from Indian colonial occupation from last seventy years.”
He said that oppression and suppression, killings, arrests, blinding and maiming have and can never defeat the valor, passion and aspirations of Kashmiris.
“We want to tell Indian leaders and their Kashmiri stooges that increasing oppression and tyranny cannot defeat our resolve to resist and urge for freedom,” he said, adding that the Indian Ministers should stop daydreaming, shun their attitude of ignorance and denial, read writing on the wall, accept the reality that Jammu Kashmir is the key issue and accept the fact that without the resolution of this issue even dreaming of lasting peace and prosperity is foolish.
While condemning curfew and restrictions throughout Kashmir especially in Srinagar to stop united resistance leadership’s march towards Mazar I Shuhada Khwaja sahib, JKLF leader said that “despite all oppression, spree of arrests, killings etc Kashmiris throughout the valley registered their desire for freedom and love for martyrs through their exemplary shutdown. This should serve as an eye opener to Indian leaders and ministers who are daydreaming of defeating Kashmiris by military and police might.”
Meanwhile, the wife of JKLF leader in Kulgam, Muhammad Sadiq and close relative of JKLF Zonal press secretary Ashraf bin Salam, Master Abdul Gani Wani of Chrar I Shareef passed away today.
While expressing his grief and sorrow over the demise of both deceased, Kalwal termed their demise as a great loss and expressed solidarity with their bereaved families.
JKLF delegations comprising of Ashraf Bin Salam, Abdul Sattar, Assadullah Sheikh and Ghulam Nabi visited the bereaved families and expressed harmony with them.
Leaders while praying for the heavenly abode of the deceased also prayed for the Sabr I Jamil to their bereaved families. (KNS)
