Srinagar : Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) signed a tripartite MoU with Mission YUVA and IIM Jammu to strengthen incubation, mentoring and scaling of youth-led neo-innovative enterprises in Jammu and Kashmir.
The agreement was signed in the presence of SKUAST-K Vice Chancellor Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Joint Director Mission YUVA Waseem Raja, SKIIE CEO Naveed Hamid and representatives of IIM Jammu.
Following the MoU, SKIIE signed incubation agreements with Noorsa Innovations Pvt. Ltd. and FarmHealth Innovations Private Limited, selected under the Mission YUVA Neo-Innovative Enterprises Scheme.
The startups will receive incubation space, laboratory access and infrastructure support. The partnership aims to connect Mission YUVA funding, IIM Jammu’s selection and mentoring ecosystem and SKUAST-K’s technical incubation facilities.
Mission YUVA aims to facilitate over 1.4 lakh enterprises and 4.25 lakh jobs, including 500 high-potential neo-innovative ventures.
