New Delhi: The sun came out bright in the afternoon, as the the capital had a detailed session with the rain during the first half today. The humidity shot up to 95 per cent post the downpour, while the temperature rose a notch above the minimum in morning to 24.6 degrees Celcius, the weatherman said. The city encountered massive water logging due to rains at various important intersections including ITO, Dhaula Kuan while going towards airport , GPO and the Badarpur border, the Traffic Department of the Delhi police said. He said, “the sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day with a few more spells of rains or thundershowers yet to be experienced in different places.’ The maximum temperature will hover at around 32 degrees Celcius, the Met department informed.
