Mumbai: Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader and MP Raju Shetty today said he has decided to take up farmers agitation at the national level to ‘pressurise’ the Central Government for the implementation of Swaminathan commission report.
Talking to mediapersons at Nashik at the sideline of Sukanu committee meeting here, Mr Shetty said he will take up the farmers agitation at the national level, and he will also talk to the opposition parties for the support so that Central Government can be pressurised for the implementation of Swaminathan Commission report.
Mr Shetty also said ‘though we are in ruling alliance partner in the Government, very soon we are going to take decision on the alliance partnership.
‘ He further said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is an intellectual person, now he is going to send him his (Mr Fadnavis) old speeches, so that he can remind him of what he had said earlier, he added.
