New Delhi, May 31: The CPI-M today charged the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre with “targetting” the Communists Governments of Kerala and Tripura and said disproportionate funds allocation for these states has hampered job scenario and also affected common people’s lives.
“This Government is targetting the two Left Governments in Kerala and Tripura,” senior party leader Brinda Karat told reporters here.
She said while at the national level the rate of implementation of rural job scheme Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MG-NREGA) is very dismal, Tripura’s is the best.
“Much higher than the national average, the CPI-M Government in Tripura is able to provide 87 days’ work to the rural people.
But the Government is targeting Tripura and funds have been squeezed.
