New Delhi, May 6: In an incident of gas leakage in Delhi’s Tughlakabad, as many as 173 students and nine teachers were hospitalised today after they complained of eyes irritation following which the AAP Government has ordered a probe into the matter.
According to the fire official, a call was received at around 0735 hrs this morning regarding gas leakage from a container in Tughlakabad, nearby a school.
Meanwhile, a Delhi Police official said that the incident has occurred due to negligence.
He added that around 173 students and nine teachers were admitted to hospitals.
Earlier this morning, in a series of tweets Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, “There was a gas leakage from a container depot in Delhi’s Tughlakabad, nearby Government school children faced problem because of it.
