Patna, May 1: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condoled the deaths of six people in yesterday`s train mishap in Lakhisarai district and announced an ex gratia of Rs.
4 lakh to family members of each deceased.
Expressing his grief over the train mishap, Mr Kumar in his message said that according to the report received from Lakhisarai district magistrate, six people were killed when they were run over by a train while crossing tracks in the district.
He directed authorities concerned to make proper arrangements for the treatment of those injured in the mishap.
Mr Kumar said a team of state rural works department had been sent to the spot to supervise the conveyance facility for the affected people and also file a report related to it at the earliest.
