New Delhi, May 1: The ban on Red Beacons aimed at ending ‘VIP Culture’ mindset, as termed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has come into force from today.
The Ministers and officials in the Central Government and State Governments will not be able to use Red Beacons on their official vehicles any more.
