President urges citizens to extend their support to ‘Mission Less Cash India’

New Delhi, April 9: President Pranab Mukherji today urged all citizens to extend their support to the Mission of a Less Cash India.
On The Occasion of Mega Draw of Lot for Lucky Grahak Yojana and DigiDhan Vyapar Yojana, Mr Mukherji said, “All efforts of the Government will achieve their end only if people were to adopt them proactively.
” He once gain complimented the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Government for passage of the Budget before March 31, 2017 which will help the ministries and departments to get the early money for the implementation of plan.
Mr Mukherji said, “I complement the Government on its bold initiatives for promoting the culture of digital payment in the country.
It was in line with such bold initiatives that Parliament made a new beginning in Financial Management through passage of Annual Budget by March 31, 2017.
