Ensure distribution of Anganwadi, Mid day meal ration to beneficiaries at doorstep

Doda: In order to ensure the distribution of Anganwadi and Mid day meal ration to the beneficiaries at their doorstep, DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode Monday set the deadline of one week to the concerned authorities, while chairing the meeting of the concerned in the DC office.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma, PO ICDS Shahida Parveen, ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, CEO Doda Tariq Hussain, Dy Registrar Cooperative Adil Lone, AD FCS&CA besides other officials of concerned department.
Reviewing the procurement status of ration in the school’s, CEO Doda informed the DDC that Mid day meal ration has been procured and all the incharge will start the distribution to the beneficiaries as per defined quantity at their doorstep without any fail.
DDC has directed the CEO to distribute the ration among the beneficiaries counting the days since the schools have been closed till date as per the defined quantity.
Moreover while reviewing the status of ration procurement by the ICDS,PO Informed the DDC that distribution has been started where the procurement has been done.In this regard DDC directed the PO ICDS to complete the process of procurement in two days and to ensure the distribution of ration at the beneficiaries doorstep in one week.
DDC has appointed ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma as Nodal officer to supervise the whole process of distribution, besides issuing directions to the concerned to submit the progress report on daily basis to the DC office and also to ensure that 100% distribution under the set timeline is achieved without fail.
DDC has also directed the concerned department to ensure that field functionaries maintain the database of distribution in their respective areas which includes submission of photographs, entry in register’s with signature of the parents etc.
Moreover DDC has strictly directed the concerned to distribute the ration at the doorstep of the beneficiary without violating the restrictions imposed amid Coronavirus threat, and appealed the general public not to come out of their homes unnecessarily and advised them to maintain social distance.
