DC Samba asks to open help desk at industrial estates, railway station

Samba: Deputy Commissioner Samba Rohit khajuria Saturday convened a meeting of District officers to review the status of measures taken to prevent Corona virus in the district.
During the meeting Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Gupta, Assistant Commissioner, Kulbhushan Khajuria, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ghagwal Ramkesh Sharma, Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur CP kotwal, General Manager Industries Samba Sansar Chand, Chief Medical Officer Dr Rajinder Samyal besides other District and field officers from concerned departments were also present.
Giving details of measures taken it was informed that all the schools, colleges and other educational institutions have been closed till 31st March besides regular monitoring of suspected patients is carried out both at hospital quarantine and home quarantine.
CMO informed that all the medical and health institutions in the district including CHC Ramgarh, PHC Purmandal, PHC Nud, Emergency Hospital Vijaypur and others have been well equipped to effectively check and prevent spread of COVID-19. Training regarding COVID-19(Corona Virus) to FMPHWs, CHOs, HEs, AWW and Asha workers has also been imparted.
DC directed the general manager Industries to establish a help desk in each phase of industrial estate so that daily check can be kept at labors coming from outside state. He also directed the tourism officers to check the various tourist places in samba for any outsider besides also check the hotels and other lodgings for suspected outsider person. He also stressed upon checking all the major footfall areas of district samba including railway station, bus stands, temples and busy markets.
DC also directed to submit daily reports in office regarding the steps taken by line departments to counter the spread of corona virus in the district.
Deputy commissioner samba also appealed to general public to avoid spreading and believing fake and frivolous information besides also encouraged for self declaration in case if anyone has visited foreign.
