Anantnag/May,11: According to the Deputy Excise Commissioner, the Excise team headed by Excise and Taxation Officer, South Kashmir range destroyed 12 kanals of poppy cultivation in village Sheepian pora of Tehsil Bijbehara of district Anantnag.
The Excise team was accompanied by Police personnel of concerned police station and Revenue officials.
The Deputy Excise Commissioner further said the anti-poppy drive will continue till the menace is rooted out from the Kashmir valley.
