Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association conducted selection trials to pick the State team for participation in 19th National Junior/Senior Athletics Championship starting 25th January 2019 at Panchkula Haryana.
The trials were held under the supervision of J&K State Sports Council where more than 300 athletes from various districts of the State participated. The selected players have to go through one more screening on 22nd December 2018.
M A Hakak Joint Director Information Kashmir, Grandmaster Mir Nazir Ahmad were present on the function.
Speaking on the occasion, M A Hakak highlighted the importance of the sports and hailed the efforts of Grand Master Mir Nazir Ahmad for the upliftment of sports activities in the State.
