Former SSP Riyaz Bedar joins NC

Islamabad: Riyaz Bedar, former SSP Srinagar joined joined National Conference (NC) in presence of party vice president Omar Abdullah and other top NC leaders at party headquarters Nawai-Subuh Srinagar.
He was accorded a warm welcome by party’s vice president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in presence of top party leaders.
Riyaz Bedar who hails from Pattan Baramulla commands a great deal of acceptability among the people in his home constituency Pattan of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Known for his dedication and honesty, Riyaz Bedar if sources are to be believed will be the candidate for the National Conference from Pattan Constituency in coming Assembly Elections.
Pattan Constituency seat is usually bagged by PDP rebel and former minister Ansari family, however, if people participate in the election freely, Bedar has bright chances to wrest this Assembly seat fro, Ansari.
