Inter-Block U-17, U-19 Football & Volleyball Tournament gains momentum in B’la

Baramulla :  Inter-Block District Level Volleyball and Football Tournament for Under-17 and Under-19 Boys is progressing with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit across various clusters of District Baramulla.

The prestigious tournament is being organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) District Baramulla under its ongoing youth engagement initiative aimed at channelizing the energy of young athletes towards constructive sporting platfor

In Cluster Baramulla, the Under-19 Boys Volleyball and Football competitions were conducted successfully amidst high excitement and vibrant participation. In the Volleyball final, Block Wagoora emerged victorious, displaying remarkable coordination, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. In Football, Block Nadihal clinched the championship title after a thrilling final encounter, showcasing tactical brilliance and team spirit.

Meanwhile, Cluster Dangerpora successfully conducted the Under-19 Boys Inter-Block Football and Volleyball competitions at the iconic Habasahab Sports Stadium Hathlango. The football competition witnessed the participation of 7 teams comprising 112 players, reflecting the growing popularity of the sport among the youth.

Similarly, the volleyball competition also saw 7 teams with a total of 84 players competing vigorously for top honors. The matches were marked by discipline, sportsmanship, and electrifying performances from budding players.

Adding further momentum to the district-level sporting activities, Cluster Uri organized the Inter-Block Cricket Tournament for Under-17 Boys, providing young cricketers an opportunity to demonstrate their talent and competitive skills.
