Jammu | : Today the final match of the Inter-Collegiate Hockey (Men) Tournament 2025–26 was organised by The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at K.K. Hakku Stadium, Jammu. The final match was played between the teams of PG Department, University of Jammu and GDC Kathua in which PG.Deptt.JU. JU team beat GDC Kathua by 06-03 goals. The match remained 03-03 draw during the stipulated time and decided through penalty shoot out. For PG.Deptt.JU team Yogeshwar Rudar Scored 03 field goals on 10th, 35th & 45th minute of the match in the stipulated time. During penalty shoot outSukchinder Singh, Yogeshwar Rudar & Sahil Kumar scored the goal for the PG. Deptt. JU team.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief Guest of the final match who awarded medals & trophy to the winning teams/players in the presence of Prof. Shivani Kotwal, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Dr. Mahak, S. Harinderpal Singh, S. Ravinder Singh and Rishiv Sharma.
