LG Sinha’s Address Jat Sabha, Vows to Eradicate Terrorism: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the All J&K Jat Sabha in Jammu, praising the armed forces’ valor and reaffirming the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Highlighting the recent Pahalgam attack on April 22 that killed 26 civilians, Sinha emphasized a united front against anti-national elements to ensure lasting peace in the region.
2. CM Abdullah Proposes Tourism Revival Strategy: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah proposed a dual strategy to revive Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism sector, severely hit by the April 22 Pahalgam attack. Speaking ahead of a planned cabinet meeting in Pahalgam, he suggested hosting parliamentary committee meetings and PSU events in the region to restore confidence and boost the economy, which has seen a sharp decline in bookings.
3. LG Sinha Flags Off Physics Bharat Yatra In Udhampur: LG Manoj Sinha launched the ‘Physics Bharat Yatra’ in Udhampur, a nationwide initiative to promote scientific innovation.
