New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, said on Sunday that he will visit Begusarai in Bihar on Monday and hold “Palayan Roko, Naukri Do” (stop migration, give jobs) yatra.
In a video message on X, he said that the campaign aims to highlight the struggles and sufferings of youth of Bihar and put pressure on the government to provide job opportunities and stop mass migration from the state.
The former Congress president has urged the youth to join him in the campaign by wearing “white T–shirt”.
“Young friends of Bihar, I am coming to Begusarai on 7th April to walk shoulder-to-shoulder with you in ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do’ (stop migration, give jobs) yatra,” Rahul Gandhi said.
He further said, “The aim of the campaign is to make the entire world see the sentiments of the youth of Bihar, their struggle, their suffering.”
“You too come wearing a white T-shirt, ask questions, raise your voice to put pressure on the government for your rights to remove it. Join the white T-shirt campaign by registering here whitetshirt.in,” he said.
Gandhi added, “Let us together make Bihar a state of opportunities.”
