Srinagar: Two migrant laborers working in the Magam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district were shot and injured by militants on Friday evening. Both were immediately taken to the hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Usman Malik (20) and Mohammad Sofiyan (25), both residents of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. They were working on the Jal Jeevan Project in the Mazahama area when they were attacked by suspected militants.
Sources told Kashmir Horizon that militants opened fire on the two laborers in Mazahama, Budgam. “After the attack, they were quickly rushed to the hospital, and their condition is stable. “Both injured have been referred to SKIMS Bemina from SDH Magam.
