Jammu: The Cyber Cell of Jammu & Kashmir Police in Jammu District has successfully solved an online fraud case and recovered ₹80,000 from a fraudster who had been deceiving people with promises of high returns.
As per a police press release, the complainant approached the Cyber Cell after being cheated, and the team swiftly launched an investigation, following which the lost amount of ₹80,000 was recovered from the fraudster.
“District Police Jammu, equipped with advanced technology and expert human resource remains at the forefront in the fight against cybercriminals,” reads the police statement.
