Tiranga Rallies organized across JK to mark I’Day celebrations

Jammu: In a resounding display of patriotism and unity, the District Administrations organised Tiranga Rallies across Jammu division under “HarGharTiranga” Campaign and as a part of Independence Day celebrations.
At Samba: the District Administration Samba, under the dynamic supervision of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, on Monday organized a Mega Tiranga Rally, as a part of the ongoingHarGharTiranga campaign. The rally commenced from the historic Samba Fort and culminated at Veer Bhoomi Park, symbolizing the unity and patriotism of the people of Samba. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from a cross-section of society, including district and sectoral officers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), volunteers, students and the general public. Holding the Tricolor aloft, the participants marched with fervor, embodying the spirit of the campaign and paying tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s freedom fighters.The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of the HarGharTiranga campaign in instilling a sense of pride and nationalism among the citizens. He urged everyone to actively participate in the campaign by hoisting the National Flag at their homes, thereby contributing to the collective effort to strengthen national unity.“The Tiranga is a symbol of our country’s sovereignty, pride and integrity. This rally is a testament to the collective patriotism of the people of Samba and I urge all citizens to continue this spirit by participating in the HarGharTiranga campaign with the same enthusiasm,” said the DC.The rally also featured cultural performances by students, adding to the patriotic ambiance of the event. The students, dressed in the colors of the national flag, performed various patriotic songs and dances, further igniting the spirit of nationalism among the participants.The event concluded at Veer Bhoomi Park, where a solemn tribute was paid to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. The DC, along with other dignitaries, placed wreaths at the memorial, honoring the brave souls whose sacrifices have made the nation proud.The District Administration urged all residents to join hands in making the HarGharTiranga campaign a grand success and to continue celebrating the spirit of independence in the days to come.
At Ramban: In a remarkable display of national pride and unity, the District Administration Ramban, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-HaqChaudhary, organized several grand TirangaYatras across the district. This patriotic event was conducted as part of the HarGharTiranga campaign, with Tiranga rallies and activities held at key locations, including Sub-Divisional Headquarters in Banihal, Ramsoo, Gool and in Tehsil Batote.The highlight of the day was the Tiranga Bike Rally held in Gool, where the streets came alive with a vibrant display of patriotism. The rally showcased a powerful demonstration of love for the nation as participants rode their bikes and marched with the Tricolor fluttering proudly in the wind, symbolizing unity and strength.
In Batote, the Tiranga Rally was a massive success, drawing thousands of participants who came together to celebrate the spirit of India. The event was a visual spectacle, with the Tricolor held high, embodying the values of freedom, diversity, and national pride.The Sub-Divisional Headquarters in Ramsoo also witnessed a proud moment as residents, young and old alike, participated in the TirangaYatra. The streets were filled with the echoes of patriotic slogans, and the sight of the Tricolor being carried by enthusiastic participants served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by countless Indians for the nation’s independence.
In Banihal, the TirangaYatra was a spectacular demonstration of the love and respect the people have for the National Flag. The event showcased unity in diversity, with participants from all walks of life joining hands to celebrate the essence of India. The rally emphasized the importance of national unity and the role each citizen plays in keeping the spirit of India alive.Educational institutions across the district, including colleges, schools, and other organizations, also took part in the HarGharTiranga campaign. These institutions conducted TirangaYatras in their respective areas, with students and staff members participating with enthusiasm and pride. The collective participation of these institutions further amplified the message of unity and patriotism, ensuring that the younger generation remains connected to the values that define our nation and our National Flag.
At Rajouri: In a bid to promote patriotism and unity among the citizens, the District Administration Rajouri on Monday organized a grand “TirangaYatra” as part of HarGharTiranga Campaign 2024. The yatra started from the PWD Dak Bungalow and culminated at the Sports Stadium Kheora, where a cultural concert was also held.The rally was attended by a large number of participants, including students, government officials and locals who enthusiastically carried the national flag. The “HarGharTiranga” Campaign, launched by the government, aims to encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes, promoting a sense of national pride and unity. The rally in Rajouri was a testament to the commitment of the district administration to this initiative, with participants proudly carrying the Tricolor. The cultural concert held at the Sports Stadium Kheora added to the festive atmosphere which was widely appreciated by the attendees. A “Tiranga Pledge” was also taken by the participants, wherein they pledged to uphold the dignity and honor of the national flag, and to work towards promoting unity and integrity among the citizens of the country.The event was attended by GM DIC, FareedKohli; ASP, MusadiqMajidBasu; ACR, Mohammad Jhangir Khan; CPO, Maqsood Ahmed; ACP Sheraz Ahmed Chauhan, ACD, Vijay Kumar CMO, Dr ManoharRana; DYSSO; AD FCS&CA, Rohit Kumar; Dy. Registrar CS Adnan Rathar; Executive Engineer PDD RajouriMohd Rashid; TehsildarRajouri, Varinder Sharma; EO MC Rajouri, officers, officials and public in large numbers.
