Srinagar : In a tragic incident, an eight-year-old boy drowned to death in Boniyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
An official said that a young boy identified as Manan Ahmed Bhat, who had gone to the local nallah to cool off in the summer heat tragically lost his life after accidentally drowning.
He said the boy was quickly rushed to a nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC), where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, local police have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating into the matter
