New Delhi: Leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of using unethical means to bring people from other parties into the BJP.
The attack on PM also lead him to slam Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for creating a ‘divide’ amongst his party committing ‘political hara-kiri’ joining hands with BJP, ignoring Sharad Yadav, the founder of the party.
Mr Azad while speaking at the protest staged by Congress observing November 8 as ‘Black Day’, as the note ban completed one year today.
However, Mr Azad praised Sharad Yadav who also joined the Congress protest saying that Mr Yadav has stood the test of time in terms of abiding by principles and standing by the right.
He said that people have tried their best to push Yadav out of the parliament, but he has always been firm and stood his ground.
He further said that, earlier Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had initiated the dialogue and it was discussed amongst the 18 parties that were part of the opposition for observing November 8 as the ‘black day’ in the country.
