New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that paper leaks, corruption, and irregularities had infiltrated the education system, and shuffling the bureaucrats is no solution to the endemic problem rotted by the BJP.

In a social media post, X Kharge said, “In the NEET scam, the buck stops at the doorstep of the top echelons of the Modi government.” Shuffling the bureaucrats is no solution to the endemic problem in the education system rotted by the BJP.”.

He further said, “NTA was projected to be an autonomous body, but in reality was made to serve the devious interests of the BJP/RSS.”.

Kharge said that for the future of the students and their justice, the Modi government must be held accountable.

The Rajya Sabha MP said, “Now the NEET-PG Exam has been postponed. Four examinations have been either cancelled/postponed in the past 10 days. Paper leaks, corruption, irregularities, and Education education mafia have infiltrated our education system.”.

“This belated whitewashing exercise is of no consequence, as countless youth continue to suffer!” Kharge said.

Late last evening, the government, in an order, appointed Pradeep Singh Kharola in place of Subodh Kumar Singh as the Director General of National Testing Agency (NTA). Moreover, the government had also placed the services of Subodh Kumar Singh on compulsory hold in the Department of Personnel and Training.

It may be mentioned that the government on Saturday also ordered a CBI investigation into the allegations of irregularities in the NEET-US Examination.
