Distt level NCORD committee evaluates drug control measures across Doda

Doda: The district-level Committee under Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD) met here on Friday under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Sudershan Kumar to evaluate existing drug control measures and enhance efficacy in combating drug abuse and illicit narcotics trade in the district.
The meeting served as a platform to assess the implementation of previous directives and initiatives aimed at curbing drug-related activities in the district. During the meeting, participants deliberated on effectiveness of current strategies and identified areas for improvement. Strategies were devised to strengthen enforcement measures and enhance collaboration among law enforcement agencies, community stakeholders, and civil society organizations.
Additional Superintendent of Police Doda, Shakeel Ul Rehman, alongside other key officers, actively participated in the meeting. Their insights and contributions were instrumental in shaping comprehensive approaches to tackle the drug menace. The collaborative effort underscored the commitment of all stakeholders to prioritize the fight against drug abuse and uphold public safety and well-being.
