In a momentous occasion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spearheading transformative initiatives aimed at ushering in a new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir.  He not only expressed appreciation for the recently inaugurated ‘Holistic Agriculture Development Programme’ and the ‘Integrated Development of Hazratbal Shrine’ project but also took the opportunity to personally distribute appointment orders to new government members, symbolizing a collective step towards progress. Lt. Governor Sinha acknowledged Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering commitment to rapid and inclusive development, emphasizing that since 2014, every moment has been dedicated to restoring the rights of those on the margins and bringing peace, prosperity, and hope to the region.  The focus has been on ensuring that the fruits of development reach every stratum of society, with the overarching vision of providing equal opportunities for growth, justice, and dignity to all citizens. Highlighting one of the key focuses of PM, Lt. Governor Sinha underscored the emphasis on women’s empowerment. Restoration of women’s rights and the introduction of entrepreneur schemes aimed at financial independence have placed Nari Shakti at the forefront of Jammu and Kashmir’s development journey. The Lt. Governor applauded the commitment to providing a life of dignity for women in the region. According to Lt. Governor Sinha, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir have seen their dreams take flight under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.  Opportunities abound for the youth to harness their full potential, driving socio-economic development. The overwhelming support at the Bakshi Stadium, filled to its 35,000 capacity, stands as a testament to the love and endorsement of the Kashmiri people for Prime Minister Modi.

“The transparent governance and the creation of over 36,000 government jobs underscore a commitment to fairness, equality, and the provision of employment opportunities, vital components for sustained socio-economic growth. As Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha expresses optimism for the future, the promise of a bright tomorrow for Jammu and Kashmir appears within reach”.

Under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister, Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing a surge in infrastructure development. The Z-Morh tunnel, Zojila tunnel, Srinagar Ring Road, Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway, and various highway projects collectively contribute to transforming the landscape of the region. Lt. Governor Sinha highlighted the ongoing and upcoming milestones, including the completion of the Z-Morh tunnel, Zojila tunnel, and Srinagar Ring Road phases.  The commitment to connecting remote areas, such as Qazigund-Shopian-Pulwama-Srinagar NH444, showcases a comprehensive approach to development. Emphasizing a holistic approach to regional development, Lt. Governor Sinha pointed out the successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), which connects every village with a population of 500 with roads.  Furthermore, significant investments in smart city projects and NABARD-funded initiatives underscore the commitment to uplifting every aspect of the region. In the last four years, the transparent recruitment of over 36,000 government jobs has exemplified the commitment to fair governance and the creation of ample employment opportunities.  This initiative not only addresses the immediate needs of the population but also contributes to the overall socio-economic development of the region. Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha concluded his expression of gratitude by conveying optimism for the future. He highlighted the transformative impact of the ongoing projects and the promise of a bright tomorrow for Jammu and Kashmir.  The collaborative efforts of the government, led by Prime Minister Modi, have set the stage for a prosperous and inclusive future, where the people of the region can thrive and realize their full potential.

“The promise of a bright tomorrow for Jammu and Kashmir appears within reach.  The ongoing projects, milestones achieved, and the collaborative spirit of the government under Prime Minister Modi pave the way for a prosperous and inclusive future.  The resilience and hope embedded in the region’s journey signal not just a transformation but a renaissance – a new chapter in the history of Jammu and Kashmir marked by progress, unity, and a collective vision for a vibrant and thriving society.”
