Srinagar: In a significant political development, Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference on Monday announced that its president Sajad Gani Lone would contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from Baramulla- Kupwara parliamentary segment.
In a post on X, formerly twitter, Peoples Conference general secretary Imran Reza Ansari said that the leadership and the rank and file of the party have overwhelmingly endorsed the candidature of the party president Sajad Gani Lone.
“It is with great pleasure that I formally announce that Mr Sajad Lone has acceded to the demand of the party. He will be the candidate of the party from Baramulla Parliamentary seat,” he said .
