Ulama’s as the heir of the Prophets has roles and responsibilities. One of the Ulama’s roles is to guide and nurture Muslims.

Ulama’s occupy a very important position in society because they have authority not only in the field of religious, social, political but also in education. Educational institutions such as Kuttab, mosques, Islamic school and others are the real contributions of Ulama’s. Ulama’s acts as translators of authoritative Islamic doctrines, and also as a bridge of transmitting religious values process especially through education. In Islam, Ulama’s has several religious social roles. First is as a teacher who teaches how to read the Quran and theory of Islam. Second is as an interpreter of Quran to answer some aspects in society, and as a judge who decides cases if there is a problem among the Muslims. And the third is as preachers who preach to disseminate Islamic teachings. Ulama’s as the heir of the Prophets has roles and responsibilities. One of the Ulama’s roles is to guide and nurture Muslims. Through that role, Ulama’s are obliged to teach their knowledge to all the people who need it. To teach their knowledge, Ulama’s convey the Dawah or do religion counseling to the entire Islamic community around them through sermons and lectures in the mosques, or through the mass media. As we all knows that Ulama’s occupy a very important position in society because they have authority not only in the field of religious, social, political but also in education. Educational institutions such as Kuttab, Mosques, Islamic school and others are the real contributions of Ulama’s. Through established educational institutions and books that they wrote, Ulama’s acts as translators of authoritative Islamic doctrines, and also as a bridge of transmitting religious values process especially through education. As an announcer of Islam, Ulama’s and Scholars are obliged to convey Amar Ma’rif and Nahi Munkar to all mankind.

“Ulama’s, who know Islam, better, should be the pioneers in upholding the truth. In present times we see and observe a fraction of so called Ulama’s who even does not know the ethics of Islam and Islamic jurisprudence, they are destroying the ethical base of Islam. Present Ulama’s should restrain themselves from such unethical debates, conversations etc. especially on social media platforms to save this community from further destruction. Also people should boycott these types of unethical debates and should be vigilant from such elements that destroy the image of this community.”

As spiritual leaders Ulama’s must lead and guide Muslims in the spiritual aspect, for example in the field of Aqidah, Shariah and Morals Ulama’s are obliged to keep Almighty Allah’s message. In that real sense, Ulama’s are responsible for maintaining religion from destruction, keeping the religion from being polluted by humans, and fulfilling all the commands of Almighty Allah.  Ulama’s, who know Islam, better, should be the pioneers in upholding the truth. Also people should boycott these types of unethical debates and should be vigilant from such elements that destroy the image of this community. (Qalb ma sooz nahi Roh ma ehsaas nahi – Kuch bi Paigaami Muhammad (SAW) ka tomhain pass nahi) May Almighty Allah bestow us with hidayah and give us strength to serve Islam in ethical, moral, spiritual and pious way.
