Jt. Directorate of Information, Kashmir bids affectionate farewell to Astt. Director, M Aslam Khan on superannuation

Srinagar : The Joint Directorate of Information, Kashmir organised an impressive adieu programme to bid affectionate farewell to Assistant Director Information, Mohammad Aslam Khan, who was also holding the charge of Field Publicity Officer and Distt. Inf. Officer, Anantnag, on his superannuation on Wednesday.
Mohammad Asalam Khan has served at various positions in the department spanning about 40 years of service.
Khan was a doyen of the department who enriched DIPR with his vast experience and knowledge regarding smooth conduct of National and State level VVIP functions and Public Relations work.
Besides, Joint Director Information Kashmir, Mohammad Aslam Chowdhury; Deputy Director (PR), Bilal Mukhtar Dar; Culture Officer, Burhan Hussain the farewell function gathered officers and officials from divisional office and districts.
While expressing his appreciation for the retiring Officer, Joint Director Kashmir said that he was a confident Officer with enormous capabilities who executed entrusted jobs meticulously and efficiently.
The Deputy Director (PR) also praised the management and performance of Mohammad Aslam Khan. He said that the retiring officer’s work and conduct should encourage others to deliver their services with dedication and honesty.
Culture Officer also shared his experience of closely working with Khan and showered praise upon him for neatly orchestrating plans for successfully conducting VVIP functions and official matters.
Mohammad Aslam Khan while summarizing his four decades of service in the department shed light on the transformation of the department and its vital role.
He expressed gratitude to the Officers and officials for a grand farewell and wished them success in life.
Meanwhile, Artists of Cultural Unit dedicated some sufi and other songs to retiree Officer to make the occasion memorable for life.
The Officer was presented with bouquets, Shawl and other gifts by Officers and officials.
Earlier, District Information Centre Anantnag had also hosted a farewell function for Khan where he was presently holding additional charge of District Information Officer.
The Officers and Officials wished him a very happy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
