VBS Yatra expands reach to 12 More Panchayats in Udhampur Distt

Udhampur : On the 14th day of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, substantial progress was achieved as the campaign extended its influence to 12 additional Panchayats in Chenani, Panchari, Dudu, Tikri, Ghordi, and Majalta Blocks.
With enthusiastic participation from diverse stakeholders, the campaign is effectively disseminating crucial information about government schemes, fostering heightened awareness among the public.
The day unfolded with Health camps, Vibrant Cultural Performances, and outreach activities in these Panchayats, delivering on-the-spot services to the community. The primary objective of this outreach initiative is to empower citizens, encouraging them to actively contribute to the country’s development.
The day’s events included a series of enlightening lectures on various government welfare schemes, free medical camps, and sports activities, shaping a comprehensive and impactful approach to community development.

VBS Yatra triumphantly navigates across 6 more Panchayats in Distt Samba, taking total to 75
Samba : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues its impactful journey in District Samba, reaching and engaging with communities in six more Panchayats. The yatra covered Panchayat Nonath, Harsath in Block Ghagwal, Bagla Suchani, and Sungwal in Block Vijaypur, as well as Mohargarh and Dhora in Block Nud on Saturday.
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van were warmly received by the locals and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), who expressed their wholehearted enthusiasm for the initiative. The residents had the opportunity to listen to the Prime Minister’s messages through the IEC Van and actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge.
The event showcased vibrant cultural performances by school children centered on the theme “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke,” resonating with the essence of Viksit Bharat. Furthermore, the program featured “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” where beneficiaries shared their inspiring success stories.
To enhance accessibility to government services, departmental stalls were set up, providing on-the-spot delivery of services to the attendees.
One of the highlights of the day was a dynamic event held at Panchayat Nonath, graced by the presence of DDC Ghagwal, Suresh Kumar, BDC Ghagwal, Vijay Tagotra, and BDO Samba, Dr. Sunil Sharma and PRI members were present.
This successful day marks a significant milestone, bringing the total number of covered panchayats in District Samba to an impressive 75. The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Samba has proven to be exceptionally successful, fostering community engagement and promoting the principles of development and progress.
