Srinagar: Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Shalimar Saturday organized a cross country run from Cheshmashahi to Shalimar.
Large number of students from different schools and age groups participated in the cross country run, which was organized with an aim to create awareness regarding health consciousness and preservation of environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Director School Education, who was the chief guest on the occasion, emphasized the need for exploring hidden talent among students. He urged the teachers to encourage students to take part in different co-curricular activities.
Later, a prize distribution function was held at the institution where students were given prizes by the Director.
