New Delhi (UNI) : Opposition MPs staged a walkout from Lok Sabha on Thursday over the issue of GST hike and price rise after the lower House met following an adjournment.
Earlier as the House met, Congress MPs staged a protest against Sonia Gandhi’s ED summon, while other Opposition parties staged protest over GST hike and price rise that have been Opposition’s focus since the Monsoon Session started Monday.
The House was adjourned till 11.30 a.m. following the opposition’s uproar.
When the House met again, Congress MPs had left as they staged a march in the Parliament Complex, and headed to the Congress headquarters ahead of Sonia Gandhi’s appearance before the ED in the National Herald case.
Several other Opposition parties including, the DMK, NCP, NC, SP, TRS, TMC, staged a walkout from the House over the issue of price rise.
