New Delhi: As the monsoon arrived in the national capital, mosquito-borne diseases could not have been far behind. Hospitals in the Capital have registered 57 Dengue, 25 Chikungunya and 59 Malaria cases last week. According to the official figures, Delhi, till July 29, had registered a total 237 Dengue cases, out of which 118 were from the city, while 119 patients were from neighbouring states.
Last week, 57 new cases of Dengue were reported, including 20 from the capital and 37 from outside. Similarly, 25 new cases of Chikungunya were registered last week, including 13 from the city and 12 from outside. A total of 220 Chikungunya patients have been registered till July 29, including 140 from Delhi and 80 from neighbouring regions. Delhi also reported 59 new cases of Malaria, including 22 from the city and 37 from outside. So far, 304 Malaria cases have been recorded, including 150 from Delhi and 154 from neighbouring states.
