Hyderabad : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao turned 68 on Thursday, prompting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to greet him.
Modi tweeted: ”Birthday wishes to KCR Garu. Praying for his long and healthy life.” Ministers and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leaders organised functions across the state on the occasion. These included blood donation camps, distribution of fruits to patients in hospitals and cultural programmes.
TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan, popular actor and former Union Minister K Chiranjeevi and BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay greeted the Chief Minister.
Telangana IT and Industry Minister K T Rama Rao, son of KCR as the Chief Minister is widely known, also extended his greetings to his father. Rama Rao tweeted: ”To a man who can only dream Big, who has made impossible an art of the possible, One who leads with a heart full of compassion, One who defines courage and challenges status quo. A man who I proudly call my leader and my father. May you live long and stay blessed.”
