Baramulla: Noted religious scholar Syed Abdul Haq Bukhari father of Early Times Correspondent Syed Tahir-ul-Haq of Kreeri Baramulla passed away on Friday in the late evening hours after brief illness at SKIMS Soura.
Syed Abdul Haq Bukhari was the elder son of renowned poet Khamosh Kreeri. The deceased was laid to rest in Kreeri and large number of people from cross-section of society participated in his funeral prayers (Nimaz Jinaza). Several social, political and media organisations have condoles the demise and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. Kashmir Horizon also condoles the demise of Maulana Syed Abdul Haq Bukhari (Khamosh) , expresses sympathies with the bereaved family and prays for eternal peace to the departed soul.
