Srinagar/June,8: Haseeb A. Drabu, Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here Thursday.
Drabu briefed the Governor about the decisions taken in the Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting and explained the broad framework of the proposed legislation to enforce Goods and Services Tax in J&K.
Governor discussed with Drabu several issues regarding effective fiscal management and its direct co-relation with increased resource mobilisation which is inescapable for advancing the pace of socio-economic development of the State.
