Jan Abhiyan, B2V3 Prog,100% Saturation to be achieved in IBS: DC B’la

Baramulla:  Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo Friday said cent percent saturation will be achieved in Individual Beneficiary Schemes (IBS) adding that special focus shall be given to the effective implementation of welfare and developmental schemes in the upcoming Back to Village- 3 and the 21- days long Jan Abhiyan preceding B2V3.

DC made these remarks in a press briefing convened to inform about various arrangements that have been put in place for the smooth conduct of the campaign.

While elaborating the details of Jan Abhiyan, DC said Jan Abhiyan (Awami Muhim) has been launched by J&K administration as a prelude and build up for the third phase of ambitious “Back to Village” program that will commence from 2nd October and will culminate on 12th of October.

He highlighted the objectives of the program and said this is the first of its kind proactive Government-beneficiary interface campaign which aims to demonstrate the efficiency and capability of government functionaries in addressing the issues of a common man.

Dr Itoo also said the government has released every panchayat halqa an amount of Rs 10 lakh for development purposes among which Rs 20,000 shall be utilized for purchasing sports items to promote sports culture among our enthusiastic youth.

He said PRI representatives shall play a pivotal role during the period and they shall educate the people about various welfare programs and schemes.

The DC also informed that a mega income certificate distribution camp shall be organized on 15th of September as a move to ensure prompt public service delivery system.

Dr Itoo also informed that during the said period, all developmental activities shall be carried out keeping in view the requisite SOPs and guidelines issued to contain the spread of COVID-19.
