New Delhi, May 28: The Heritage Line ‘ (ITO-Kashmere Gate Corridor) of the Delhi Metro was today opened to the public with Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal flagging off the new section.
The 5.
17-km long ‘Heritage Line, which includes four stations — Delhi Gate, Jama Masjid, Lal Quila and Kashmiri Gate was flagged off by Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwa from Metro Bhawan.
The ‘Heritage Line’ has been opened for public from 1200 hrs.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kejriwal said the line will benefit a lot of people as it passes through an area which is home to a large number if people.
