Srinagar: Former President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and civil society leader Ab Qayoom Wani on Thursday sought improvements in patient-doctor relation for the purposes of sense of belongingness from both the doctors and as well as patients.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Wani said “instead of enacting laws for safety of Doctors , Mutual Love , Respect , Human attitude , Patience , Sense of belonging and Sense of responsibility from both sides will improve patient doctor relation”. Pointing out that “doctors need prayers from patients for their service not policing for safety”, Wani said “policing and enacting laws for safety of doctors does not suit this noble profession” . He said “protective laws in no way can help in maintaining good relation between patients and doctors”, adding that”salute to doctors for their service in fighting COVID-19?.
