Bandipora : Police on Thursday arrested an absconder who had been evading law enforcement for the past 16 years in connection with a 2010 fraud case.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, police said a team from Police Station Sumbal traced and arrested Abdul Majeed Dar @Kawa S/O Gh Mohammad Dar R/O Mujgund Srinagar. The accused was wanted under FIR No. 84/2010 U/S 420, 468, 471, 109 RPC registered at Police Station Sumbal and had been absconding since 2010.
