• Late-evening flights expected to improve connectivity from October 25

Srinagar|Oct, 19: Srinagar International Airport has withdrawn restrictions limiting its operational hours to 8 am to 5 pm, allowing flight operations beyond 5 pm to be planned under the applicable schedule, subject to operational requirements.
In a press communique, the airport authorities said the restriction on operations beyond 1700 hours had been withdrawn ahead of the implementation of the Winter Schedule 2026 from October 25.
Airlines are in the process of filing slots for late-evening flights to and from Srinagar, a move expected to provide passengers greater flexibility and improve air connectivity during the winter months.
The withdrawal of the restriction removes the earlier time limitation on airport operations, although the actual scheduling of flights will remain subject to operational requirements.
The airport authorities advised passengers to check the latest flight status and departure timings with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport.
The winter schedule is scheduled to take effect on October 25, with the proposed late-evening services expected to expand available travel options for passengers flying to and from Srinagar.
