Kupwara | October, 17: Security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jumgund area of the Keran sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday morning. Sources said that alert troops detected suspicious movement near the border zone, prompting an immediate tactical response to intercept the intruders. A comprehensive search and surveillance operation was launched right after the detection and remained actively underway in the dense terrain as forces moved to neutralize any further security threats along the border line.
