Through esteemed columns of your leading newspaper, I would like to put on record my views over ban on online delivery of liquor. Below mentioned are my views on the subject:-
Ban Online Alcohol Sales
The predatory push by various state governments to institutionalise online liquor delivery via e commerce platforms is a catastrophic nationwide blunder that trades public health for sheer revenue greed. With over 160 million citizens across India already battling severe alcohol dependence weaponizing convenience will fuel an uncontrollable social crisis. Digital age verification is a complete farce tech savvy minors will effortlessly exploit these digital loopholes directly hooking an entire generation of vulnerable youth. Flooding Indian households with home delivered alcohol will aggressively escalate domestic violence, shatter marginalized families and turn our national highways into lawless death traps. The state apparatus must completely abandon this destructive profit driven policy immediately before it permanently decimates the social fabric of Indian society.
