Anantnag, Sep 25: A 15-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a tractor at Goswami Wader Brariangan in Uttersoo area of Tehsil Shangus in Anantnag district on Friday evening.
Official told GNS that an accident took place at Goswami Wader Brariangan in which a tractor bearing registration number unknown, driven by Gulzar Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Khaliq Wani resident of Uttersoo Chanderwaden, hit a cycle rider namely Muzamil Ahmad son of Junaid Ahmad Khan resident of Goswami Wader Brariangan, aged about 15 years.
The injured boy was immediately evacuated to SDH Shangus where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
